You Share a Nomination
You tell us about someone who came to mind—what they care about, what they might be moving through, and what could feel meaningful.
A WonderBox begins with someone who comes to mind. Your nomination helps us understand who they are and what might feel meaningful.
This is the first step in helping us create a box that feels thoughtful, personal, and possible.
A nomination begins with noticing someone. You’re welcome to nominate anyone. We’re especially interested in people beyond your immediate circle.
You don’t need to explain everything. Just share what made you think of them, and what might feel meaningful.
We read every nomination with care.
The WonderBox process moves slowly, intentionally, and with consent.
You tell us about someone who came to mind—what they care about, what they might be moving through, and what could feel meaningful.
Each box depends on time, materials, and contributors. We review nominations slowly and choose based on fit, timing, and capacity.
If we’re able to move forward, we contact them directly. We let them know they were nominated and invite them to participate.
They can say yes, no, or not right now.
If they choose to take part, they complete a short reflection—just enough to help us understand what might feel supportive.
We turn what they shared into an anonymous, creative brief—something that holds their spirit without exposing their story.
Artists and contributors respond in their own ways. Over time, things are gathered into something thoughtful and personal.
There’s no set timeline.
The box is sent when it feels complete.
Use the form to tell us about your hero at your own pace. You can be brief, detailed, poetic, practical, or somewhere in between.
If speaking feels easier than writing, you can share a short video telling us about your hero and why they came to mind.
We treat each nomination as a story offered in trust. The nominee always gets to choose whether they want to participate.
